Two cameras concealed within a mask shaped like a block of apartments film as the mask is worn on the head of a young woman riding the train. The cameras film what this woman, the househead, sees. Mostly she looks out the window at the many blocks of apartments with their endless windows, but occasionally she also looks around the train carriage at the other passengers.

A third camera films the entire situation from afar. Later, when juxtaposed, the two perspectives form a triangular relationship between the film-maker, the documentary maker and the viewer, all three of whom have interchangeable roles in this situation.

Staged, filmed and edited in Berlin, 2010 with music arranged by Deborah Wargon and photo direction by Sidonie Roberts.
